
Kholoud Mahasneh, Chemical Engineer, graduated from the University of Jordan in 1986. She is currently the General Manager of Jordan Oil Terminals Company, a new registered company. Her main responsibility is to establish it as a first-class company to provide logistic services in the region, she started this position at the end of 2016.
Previously, she worked at Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company as an Executive Director for Distribution and Marketing of petroleum products for a period of 18 months.
Prior to that, she spent her entire experience at Government entities – the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and at the Mineral Resources Authority.
Her 30 years' experience makes her an expert in the energy/oil and minerals sector, with a variety of experiences starting as a chemical analyzer to be a key planner and a decision maker in the Jordanian energy sector. During the last ten years of her career, her position was at a managerial and consulting level - practicing all of the tools required to manage her duties.
She has also played an important role in the implementation program of the restructuring of the oil sector in Jordan. Moreover, she was involved in the regulatory regime of the oil sector which included setting the required regulation and monitoring all activities licensed in this sector.
Her position at Jordan Refinery enabled her to face all issues related to the management of the offshore oil terminal and The Kingdom airport’s fuel farms, in addition to the management of the liquefied petroleum gas filling stations.
A huge success was achieved by her and her team especially in the downstream petroleum sector in The Kingdom, including security supply, development of the sector infrastructure and regulating its activities.
